Ode to FFXI

So here I am, browsing through Fry’s Electronics store and what do I see…only the greatest gift to man ever, FFXI for the Xbox 360.  I was so pleased that I found it that I just had to pick it up, and pick it up I did.  The game is amazing!  For a game that was initially released 4 years ago, the graphics are wonderful, the player interface is lovely, and the theme is delightful.  I am eternally pleased with FFXI.  I even joined a Linkshell!  What a unique thing it is (not really).

Wow, what’s with my unmetered sarcasm today?  <_<

Anyway, I joined a linkshell called “Army of Hades.”  I know so cliche right?  Wrong!  It’s cool, reminds me of an old IRC channel, which that in itself is pretty damn scary, I mean who wants to be stuck in IRC again?  Not me I tell you, not me.

But maybe I’ll give IRC a chance again sometime in the future….maybe.
